Born in 1962 in Aichi Prefecture.
After graduating from the Aichi Prefectural University of Arts in 1986, Hashimoto joined the Design Studio Super-Potato Co., Ltd.
In 1996, he has established his own studio, HASHIMOTO YUKIO DESIGN STUDIO INC.
His major works include The Peninsula Tokyo (Hibiya, Tokyo), Hilton Niseko Village (Niseko, Hokkaido), Oto-Oto (Shinjuku, Tokyo), Beams House (Marunouchi, Tokyo), Billboard Live (Roppongi, Tokyo), Silk Palace (Taipei, Taiwan) and others.
He is also a visiting lecturer at Womenﾕs College of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts and his alma mater.
